CoreStreet, a leading provider of validation and authorization technology, today announced that Sal D’Agostino, the company’s vice president of physical security, will speak at the Transportation Research Board’s 83rd Annual Meeting next week on Tuesday, January 13, 2004, 1:30 p.m. – 3:15 p.m. D’Agostino’s presentation is titled “Security Concerns and Considerations with Sharing Information During Emergencies.” The event takes place at Salon Two inside the Marriott Hotel, located at 2660 Woodley Road, Washington, DC.

D’Agostino is one of four security industry experts speaking individually on how security measures can make a difference. Each participant has contributed to the ongoing efforts to develop and drive the adoption and expansion of security architectures and implementations within the transportation industry. Moderated by Jon T. Obenberger, transportation specialist at the Federal Highway Administration, speakers will discuss information sharing between traffic management centers, security reliability and recovery and what to do in emergency situations in regards to security.

Other panelists include Daniel H. Baxter, assistant vice president/area manager at PB Farradyne Inc., Vincent P. Pearce, transportation specialist at the Federal Highway Administration and Robert Rausch, vice president and chief ITS technology officer at TransCore.
