Reader Voting Determines Winners of Prestigious Award

CoreStreet, a leading provider of validation solutions for identity management and access control, today announced that the company’s Real Time Credential Validation Authority (RTC VA) has been nominated for the 2004 “Readers Trust Award” by editors at SC Magazine. “The Readers Trust Award” category is designed to recognize the industry’s most advanced identity management solution.

The RTC VA is the only currently available solution capable of digital certificate validation on a massive scale. The RTC VA works by sending small codes, or “proofs”, to determine the validity of a digital certificate in real time. Unlike first generation PKI products, the RTC VA does not require secure responders. By eliminating the need for costly security measures such as encryption, server protection and secure communications lines, implementation and maintenance costs are greatly reduced.
