Three CoreStreet Executives To Present At Upcoming RSA Conference

Security Company Demonstrates Thought Leadership Through In-Depth Presentations on the Convergence of Physical and Digital Security

CAMBRIDGE, MA (February 17, 2004)

CoreStreet, a leading provider of validation solutions for identity management and access control, today announced that three of the company’s executives will be presenting at the RSA Conference, February 23-27, in San Francisco. Silvio Micali, CoreStreet’s co-founder and chief scientist, Phil Libin, president and Dave Engberg, chief technical officer are scheduled to give individual presentations.

Micali’s presentation titled “Optimistic Fair Exchange: The Theory Behind the Practice,” takes place on Wednesday, February 25, 10:15 a.m. in Theatre 1. Micali will evaluate how Optimistic Fair Exchange could revolutionize electronic transactions through its efficiency and cost effectiveness. Micali will also explain how an optimistic protocol guarantees the fairness of an exchange between two organizations and a third party, detailing how the process ensures the ultimate in security.

Engberg’s presentation titled “Making the Most of your Credentials,” takes place on Thursday, February 26, 10:15 a.m. in Theatre 7. Engberg will examine the requirements of a security system that spans physical and IT boundaries. It evaluates the fact that when companies invest in giving employees unified credentials like smart cards, RFID badges and digital certificates, they must ensure that employees can use those credentials for all enterprise transactions.

Libin’s presentation titled “A Practical Approach to Whole Risk Assessment,” takes place on Friday, February 27, 11:00 a.m. in Theatre 14. The presentation will offer practical guidance for developing a rough whole risk assessment that can be completed quickly and used effectively in planning and budgeting. It will detail how planning a security system that bridges physical and IT access demands a comprehensive early risk assessment of every point in the system.
