CoreStreet and ASSA ABLOY to Produce Access Control Products for Government Agencies by Early 2005
Technology Utilizes Full Benefits of Government Smartcards
CAMBRIDGE, MA (July 19, 2004)
CoreStreet, a leading provider of validation solutions for identity management and access control, today announced that it has a commitment from the ASSA ABLOY Group to include its technology in physical security products for the government market by the first quarter of 2005. The ASSA ABLOY locks will fully utilize the benefits of the government smartcards currently being implemented globally including in the United States. Using digital signatures, certificates and validation, CoreStreet and ASSA ABLOY will enable the convergence of logical and physical security.
